In PART 1, we focused on different ways to enhance the virtual exhibit hall to help maximize the visibility of exhibitors. Today, we’ll share a few ideas to help facilitate meaningful connections between attendees and exhibitors.

Configure your platform’s settings to collect contact information for all booth visitors.

Don’t settle for a simple visitor count. Work with your platform provider to activate detailed booth visitor reports and help your exhibitors capture leads, generate business and increase ROI.

Be strategic with gamification in the exhibit hall.

Incorporate the exhibit hall into your event gamification. Apply a points system to multiple booth interactions to help facilitate meaningful connections between attendees and exhibitors, including: visiting an exhibit booth, initiating a chat, scheduling a meeting, downloading documents, answering an exhibitor’s trivia question and more.

No gamification features? No problem!
If your platform does not offer gamification capabilities, or if your platform gamification does not allow direct access to exhibit booths, use a free third-party service like SurveyMonkey.to create your own traffic-building game.
