Corcoran opened its doors for business in 1990. Perhaps it would be more appropriate to say “door”, as at the time the company consisted of one person, Tom Corcoran, working out of the spare bedroom in his suburban home. After serving as Convention Director for the National Restaurant Association for 12 years, Tom decided to go into business for himself and formed a trade show outsourcing firm aimed at growing events.
Today, Corcoran has a staff of more than 30 experienced trade show professionals who have produced more than 700 conventions in 100 cities. Not too shabby.
