Corcoran Story

Corcoran Expositions, Inc. opened its doors for business for the first time in 1990. Or perhaps it would be more appropriate to say door, as at the time the company consisted of one person, Tom Corcoran, working out of the spare bedroom in his suburban home. After serving as the Convention Director for the National Restaurant Association for twelve years, Tom decided to go into business for himself, forming a trade show outsourcing firm aimed at growing events. From these humble beginnings, Corcoran has grown considerably.

Tom has been successfully producing trade shows for more than thirty years. He understands all aspects of convention planning, and has earned a unique set of experiences he will bring to your show, all in an easygoing style that is both flexible and accommodating.

Tom is recognized as a leader in the industry, as evidenced by his induction into the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame in 1995 and his receiving of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events' (IAEE) top honor, the Pinnacle Award, in 2005.
